Current projects: Ogam Sir Benfro

with the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Menter Iaith Sir Benfro, Ysgol Bro Gwaun and Cywaith Cymru, ArtWorks Wales.

Creu-ad is working with pupils from Fishguard Secondary school and eight primary schools to design and create an interpretive artwork on an area of land within the school grounds.

It will express the themes central to the Ogam project.

These are to promote the links between the Welsh language and the natural environment in Pembrokeshire, South Wales.

The land art project will create a quiet space for pupils to enjoy and will include elements that refer to local landscape, history, personalities and literature.

The artists, Shelagh Hourahane, Lynne Denman and David Lloyd, have already worked with primary school pupils to make drawings, clay models, colourful tiles and collage maps that focus on what is important to the children in the area where they live.

This project will be completed during summer 2005.
