Using the arts

Artists can help you to explain why your particular place is important

We aim to stimulate and enhance the experience of the countryside and to help people to develop an understanding of countryside sites through a personal experience

Creu-ad uses the arts as tools rather than ends in themselves

We work with all the arts disciplines, selecting those that are most appropriate for each project

Artists can work across boundaries and divisions.

They can help to bring members of a rural community together and to create links between people living in the countryside

We actively involve members of the local community in practical ways in the planning of projects, developing designs and in learning the skills to contribute to the implementation of projects

Creu-ad offers

  • Interpretive research and planning
  • Facilitation for professional and community groups in initiating and developing projects
  • Workshops using the arts with people of all types and ages including those with disabilities
  • Professional art work in all disciplines
  • Full management of projects in collaboration with the client organization or group
  • Help with fund raising applications
  • Evaluation and monitoring of projects
  • Training for artists and local people
